Project Requirements

In 2014 the City Council decided that the bridge has to undergo urgent repairs of the waterproofing and the resurfacing of the driveway. A total closure of the bridge from October 6th to October 19th has been decided.

Kubet Solutions

Kubet Germany GmbH contacted the state high way department to present the new Kubet HANV Rapid solution. HANV is an abbreviation that stands for the use of an open-pored-asphalt with subsequent saturation and sealing by an epoxy resin. Kubet® Ergodur-600 is a tough elastic epoxy resin to fill the porous asphalt. Kubetlastic®-827 HT hotmelt pellets are going to be applied into the still wet Kubet® Ergodur-600 layer to provide a perfect bond and shear strength to the following hot-applied asphalt overlay.
