KubetPlast®-215

Concrete high performance superplasticiser

KubetPlast®-215 is a high performance concrete superplasticiser based on a blend of 3rd generation PCE polymers.
KubetPlast®-215 meets the requirements of ASTM C494 Type F.

KubetPlast®-215 imparts the following concrete properties:
  • Faster evolution of early strength development
  • Improved creep and shrinkage resistance characteristics
KubetPlast®-215 contains no chlorides or other corrosion-inducing substances and can therefore be used without any restrictions for reinforced concrete structures.

Usage

KubetPlast®-215 is suitable for use in the manufacture of concrete for both RMC and precast applications.
KubetPlast®-215 can be used for the following types of concrete:
  • Precast
          - Spun piles
          - Square pile
          - Hollow core precast
  • Bridges and cantilever
  • Slender components with dense reinforcement
  • Slabs, columns and walls

Concreting Guidance

Concrete placing: With the use of KubetPlast®-215, concrete of highest quality is being produced, however state of the art Concrete technology, such as mixing, placing vibrating and curing must be respected and applied.

Curing: Effective measures for concrete curing must be followed

Specific Advice

KubetPlast®-215 is added to the mixing water prior to its addition to the dry mix or added separately to the wetted concrete mix.
For optimum dispersion, Kubet recommend a minimum mixing time of 60 seconds.
When adding the balance of the batching water to adjust concrete consistency this should be done after a minimum of 2/3 of the wet mixing time to avoid surplus water in the concrete.

Compatibility

KubetPlast®-215 may be combined with all Kubetment®, Kubet® Aer, Kubet® Pump, Kubetcrete® PP-1 products, but must be added separately to the mix and not premixed prior its addition. KubetPlast®-215 is compatible with all Portland Cement types.
Consumption

Recommended Dosage

0.8–2.0 L per 100 kg of cement
Typical dosage 1.2–1.5 L per 100kg
